1. Overview

At Scrap Mafia, we deal in vintage and reworked apparel, where each piece is unique and may carry natural signs of age, wear, or character. These are not defects but part of the product’s authenticity.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.

2. Return Policy (2 Days Only)

We offer a strict 2-day return window from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
  • All original tags and packaging must be intact

Valid Reasons for Return:

  • Incorrect size delivered (different from order)
  • Wrong item received

Not Eligible for Return:

  • Change of mind
  • Minor stains, fading, distressing, or vintage marks
  • Slight color variations due to lighting/screens
  • Fit issues due to personal preference

3. Replacement Policy (Up to 5 Days)

We offer replacement only (no refund) for defective items within 5 days of delivery.

Eligible Replacement Cases:

  • Product has a major defect (e.g. tear, hole, severe damage)
  • Wrong product received

Conditions:

  • Issue must be reported within 5 days
  • Proof (images/video) must be provided
  • Product must pass our quality inspection

If the same item is unavailable, we may:

  • Offer a similar item of equal value, OR
  • Provide store credit (case-dependent)

4. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Cases

Due to the nature of our products:

  • Items with vintage marks, distressing, fading, or minor imperfections are NOT considered defective
  • Products that are:
    • Worn, washed, altered
    • Without tags/packaging
    • Returned after the allowed time window
      will be rejected

5. Mandatory Proof for Claims

For any damage/defect claim:

  • An unboxing video is mandatory
  • Must clearly show:
    • Sealed package
    • Opening process
    • Product condition

Claims without valid proof may be rejected

6. Refund Policy

  • We generally do NOT offer refunds
  • Refunds are only considered if:
    • Replacement is not possible, AND
    • Issue is verified and approved

Refunds (if approved):

  • Processed to original payment method or store credit
  • Initiated within 5–7 working days after approval

7. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Return shipping cost is to be borne by the customer
    (unless error is from our side)

8. International Orders (UK / EU / Global)

For international customers:

  • Same policy applies (2-day return / 5-day replacement)
  • Customer is responsible for:
    • Return shipping costs
    • Customs/duties (if applicable)

We recommend reviewing size and product details carefully before ordering.

9. How to Request a Return / Replacement

To initiate a request:

    • Issue description

Wait for confirmation before sending the item back.

10. Processing Timeline

  • Inspection after receiving item: 2–3 days

  • Refund (if applicable): 5–10 working days

11. Rights & Compliance

This policy is aligned with general consumer practices in UK/EU e-commerce, while respecting the nature of vintage goods.

  • Refuse returns that do not meet criteria
